The eGolf Amateur Tour

"The tour that treats the amateur like a pro"

The Michigan eGolf Amateur Tour is preparing for its 7th season with the eGolf Amateur Golf Tour. We experienced a growth of 250% for 2007 and a growth to over 200 playing members for 2008. We are part of the nationally organized eGolfAmateur Tour headquartered in North Carolina, the MIAGT provides golfer's of all abilities a chance to compete in real golf tournaments at some of the best courses in Michigan. The MIAGT tournaments are setup to be challenging but fair tests of golfers' abilities. We offer prize payouts and trophies for the first three places in each flight. All players are awarded points for each tournament they compete in. The top ten point's earners from each flight are eligible to play in the National Tour Championship held in Hilton Head SC. Last years National Championship had over 550 amateur golfers competing for first place in their respective flights. Tournaments are played according to USGA rules. Our season starts April 11th, and continues almost every other weekend until September 18th which is the State Tour Cup Championship, the last of our four majors. Tour members may play in as many tournaments as they like there is no maximum and no minimum. We play golf rain or shine.

The tour will be playing the 3rd Major at Pilgrims Run Golf Course in Pierson (just south of Grand Rapids). This championship layout is one you don't want to miss. Beautiful scenery and fast true rolling greens make this course a great site to hold a 2 day major. Hope to see you there!!

Play your way to the Pro Tour!

Now aspiring Amateurs can play their way to get an exemption to play professional events. We have over 25 golfers from the eGolf Pro Tour that have made it to the PGA and Nationwide tours last year.

We pay your entry fee to play in Hilton Head!

Players will be awarded 50% of their entry fee to the National eGolf Championships in Hilton Head for each half of the season the win. Win both halfs of the season and your entry fee will be covered 100%.

Major Tournaments are now 2 day events

Our 4 majors tournaments will be 2 day 36 hole (18 holes per day) events to add a new level of excitement and competition.

We always make the prize payouts as high as possible for every event. Now these prizes will be easier to redeem! These payouts will of course conform to USGA rules relating to Amateur Status.

New Points System for 2010!

The whole tour has revised it's points system to make the season more exciting and allow more players to be competitive in the points race.
